ROUND TWELVE vs Wahgunyah

Senior Football

The Seniors had a good hit out against the improving Lions on Saturday. The lads had a blistering first quarter to grab control early but Wahgunyah were persistent to the end. Big Benny bagged 5 in another good showing. Oskar is looking more and more comfortable and Taylor put his hand up for Goal of the Day with a ripper! The only downside is some more injuries coming out of the game with a watch and see on Steve.

Congratulations to Clangers for playing his 50th Senior Game for the Bushies on Saturday and celebrating with a Win.

A Grade Netball

Unfortunately, A Grade went down in a tough contest today 31 - 37, but there were plenty of positives to take away. The positional changes went smoothly throughout the game. Lainey had a fantastic first half in defence before moving into WA, where she created space and delivered the ball beautifully into our shooters. Molly also adapted well to a positional change, moving from WA into GS to provide a strong target and open up our attacking options in the circle. Rach worked tirelessly in GA, creating space and driving hard to open up opportunities into the circle. It was also great to have Teg back this week, making a welcome return in defence. A great team effort today—everyone worked hard and embraced the changes.
