U11’s match report:
Another good win yesterday. We are gaining in confidence and skills each week.
Awards: Aulay - for a consistent game and lots of encouragement. Isis - who did not stop moving for the whole game, she was always on her toes. Great work.
U13’s match report:
We had a quieter than usual presence out on court today with the girls working towards applying full court 1:1 defensive pressure. There were alot of tips and intercepts won but Mitta were a strong side taking the win 24-8.
Awards: Hazel - worked incredibly hard, doing an outstanding job of breaking free from the intense defensive pressure applied by her opponent. Neve - forever creating turnovers in defence - well done again Neve on your commitment to your line and the ball and taking those beautiful clean intercepts. Joanne - stepped up to provide the link we needed into our attacking end today with strong leads and drive.
13Res / Intraclub:
This was a fun little session with 2 teams made up of 13U, 11U & 15U players.
Even with the mix up of positions and faces the girls played with great energy, connection and skill. There were some impressive little combinations out there!
Awards:
Becca - adjusted very well to each positional change on court and really got into the game, shooting a number of goals and taking a number of intercepts! Isis - is a little defensive machine! There were not a lot of feeds making it to the shooters with Isis in defence! She had a pretty good run out at centre too!
U15’s match report:
Not quite the result we hoped for today, but still a gallant effort by our team and lots of positives to take away.
Congratulations to Soph and Lola who each played their first game as Bushies!
Awards:
1&2 Soph and Lola - such super attitudes and team spirit. They both stepped on court and had great impact, using their speed to gain intercepts and making their opponents work hard for every ball. 3. Taiya- terrific defensive effort on a very tall opponent and then gave us plenty of drive when she switched into WA. Strong leads to get onto circle edge and great passes into the goal circle.
U17’s match report:
Went down to Mitta today in a great game. The girls played hard and competitive netball today and should be proud.
Awards
Eliza Guthrie hot shot in the ring today, beautiful footwork and smiling assassin. Nat Vincent, played out an elite game in C and created opportunities at every pass. Ruby Hartvigsen ruled in defence today keeping her opponent at minimal score, lifted the girls and showed team spirit!
C grade match report:
C grade did a great job at keeping their heads up, backing each other and come back with an amazing last quarter. There were so many beautiful passages of play all the way down the court.
Awards Best on went to Matilda Collins who carved it up in the goal ring and created clean slick passages. 2nd went to Jaimie Fitzgerald who transitioned into defence so well! Lots of pressure, denying the space and hands to balls. 3rd is going to Izzy who at only 13 did a fantastic job stepping up and persevering. So much talent and potential for this little bushie
B Grade match report:
B grade were unable to come away with the win over a very strong Mitta B Grade. The girls fought hard all game and continue to build each week.
Awards: Stanley Pub - Best on went on to Kate Armstrong for her defensive pressure and hustled all game. P & J Chambeyron - 2nd best on went to Poppy Voigt, who gave 100% all game and created lots of depth in her drives and intensity. Nicholas Hotel - 3rd best on went to Matilda Collins. Matilda is a great asset to our senior squad and a very exciting young shooter. Matilda played 6 consistent quarters of netball! Well done girls!

We now look forward to a well earned bye this weekend to rest and reset our bodies.
