A tough day for the Bushies Seniors against an in form Roos outfit. Cobber led from the front and really clocked up some miles around the ground and a special shout out to Coop for a ripping goal that at least the goal umpires awarded, because the crowd had no idea with the fog. Old man Stone got amongst it as did Austy after limited training.
Well Done to Dayne Carey on celebrating is 200th game for the Bushies on Saturday. And also to Digsy on celebrating his 250th for the Club. Well done lads and thanks for you commitment to the Bushies!

A Grade Netball:
The whole team produced a fantastic performance, taking the game right up to Yack and fighting hard from the first whistle to the last. Our defensive pressure was outstanding all the way down the court, creating plenty of opportunities, while our ball movement into the attacking circle was smooth and effective. A special congratulations to Tegan on reaching 150 senior club games—a wonderful milestone. Tegan is an exceptional role model and leader, and our club is incredibly proud of everything she contributes both on and off the court.

B Grade Netball:
Despite the slippery conditions, the girls put together a determined performance against a Yack side that applied relentless defensive pressure. There were some excellent passages of play as we worked the ball down the court, showing patience and teamwork. Danielle continued her outstanding consistency, backing up another strong performance, while Emma and Rach worked tirelessly in defence and never stopped applying pressure.

C Grade Netball:
Another round against a tough and well oiled opposition. The girls played strategic netball in wet conditions, reducing the margin by 20 goals in comparison to their last encounter to Yackandandah. A testament to their development as a team. Congratulations to Daisy, Isla and Abi who stepped up from 17s and held their own in the mid court!

C Res Netball:
What a wonderful game! A draw that we definitely would take away as a win! After playing Yack earlier in the season in a tough loss, this is such a great result! This game we thought we were coming in as underdogs for, and we continued to hold the lead the entire game to walk away with the draw! Everyone played beautifully. Our shooters worked well together with some beautiful play. Everyone held their own against a very physical Yack side. Great work girls!

U17s Netball:
A tough game in cold, slightly wet conditions, with the girls showing great determination throughout. Lucy Matheson-Jones was outstanding in defence with strong intercepts, quick footwork and excellent pressure on a holding shooter.
Abigail Krause was brilliant through the centre with great drives, speed to the ball and strong efforts to win loose balls. Lola Schultz tagged her opponent well all game, never gave up and applied consistent pressure.

U15s Netball: 48 - 37
A close start to the game saw both teams work hard in slippery conditions. As the match progressed, we settled into our game and came away with a 48–37 win.
Olivia stepped into GS and settled in beautifully, backing herself and shooting brilliantly. The changes allowed the opportunity for others to step up in defence. The versatility of the team was a real highlight, with everyone adapting well and working together to finish strongly.

Under 15s Res:
15s Res today had a challenging game against yack however once they got into the run of thing our plays worked well. Nina has been working very hard at training and has put all of the things we have spoken about into play and her intercept are spectacular.
Loz is our ever reliable, she is the safe option through the mid court with strong defensive presence as well as great leadership skills. Normally Mills is our gun GA however today we popped her in GD and she looked like she has played well here forever. Her defensive presence and pressure on the court was amazing to watch.

U13s Netball: 22 - 17
A fantastic team performance saw the 13s girls come away with a well-earned 22–17 win. Every player made a valuable contribution and embraced their role, resulting in one of the team's strongest performances of the season. It was great to see the girls support one another, work together, display excellent sportsmanship, and play with confidence from start to finish. Well done!

U13s Res Netball:
Our under 13 res girls put in a fantastic effort this morning against a strong opposition. They worked hard showing determination, resilience, and a willingness to keep competing throughout the match.
Defensively, the team applied excellent pressure, making it difficult for their opponents and demonstrating their growing confidence and teamwork. Their passing also continues to improve each week, with stronger, more accurate ball movement.
One of the highlights was the way the girls encouraged and supported one another. They celebrated each other’s successes with genuine joy and enthusiasm, creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere on the court. As part of Respect Round, the team truly embodied the values of respect and kindness.

U11s Netball:
What an exciting game to watch! Our U11s fought their way back against Yack in the second half, taking a one-goal lead right on the final whistle. Yack then slotted a penalty goal after the final whistle to level the scores. Every one of our Bushies gave 100%. So proud of the effort, determination, and teamwork. Well done, Bushies!
