Kiewa 56 Def BWorth 20

(2 goals better then last time, that's a win in our book!) @Christie Bence and I were so impressed with the girls today, they have developed as a team and as individuals, some beautiful passages of play, Indi with patience and maturity on the attack, slowing the game when needed, Maddles with incredible defensive skills causes last line of defence turnovers, Harper will precision shooting, could go on and on, each girl played with heart today, Kiewa are a well oiled machine and picked off any gaps in our game.

1. Ruby H, used her body to create space in shooter, then again in defence making Kiewa work hard for every goal.

2. Elsey N, little work horse gave everything today, lifted her game with body on body defence and rolling off her player to create opportunities.

3. Eliza G, fast on the attack, smart play and huge effort through the mid court, super proud of her game today!

Reserves

A tough day on the park for the Ressies with KSC ending up too polished for the Bushies. Once again, the lads battled out to the end.

Seniors

Beechworth faced a tough challenge against ladder leaders Kiewa, fielding a reshuffled lineup that required players to take on new roles. Despite a strong first-quarter effort, the Bushies couldn’t convert their opportunities on the scoreboard. From there, Kiewa steadily gained control and secured a comfortable win. Jobe Brock delivered his best performance of the season, with strong support from Connor Stone, Liam Stephenson, and Hamish Malsem. A bright note for the club was the senior debut of Gabe Humphries, who, alongside second-gamer Oli Kavanagh, impressed with their efforts and promise for the future.
