Under 13’s:
It was a battle on court this week with the lead changing at the end of every quarter and a nail-biter of a finish!
The girls were connected well and put in a solid team performance. Despite their best efforts, the team went down by just 1 goal in the final seconds. 18-19.
Awards
Neve – showcasing her talent with her intercepts, tips and gained possessions making a big impact on the game. Sophie – played a strong half in centre, showing great connection and timing with her fellow attackers. Lily – provided a strong link from defence into attack, transitioning the ball effectively down the court and moving and shooting well under the ring.
Under 13’s Res- Intraclub Match:
This week's match saw a fresh combination of players take the court – and despite the wet conditions, the girls had a great run!
Awards
Maree – for her lovely shooting and strong movement, both in goals and through the midcourt. Sienna – for her smart use of space, creating leads in C and use of her outside arm in defence.
Well done to all the girls, it was a great effort in tricky conditions this week!
Under 15’s:
No report this week but the girls had a nice win. Well done girls!
Under 17s
Girls tried hard today in cold, wet conditions. We lacked some team cohesiveness but individually each girl played a beautiful game.

Elsey Neville, absolutely applied the pressure today, fantastic body work and cooked in GK. Indi Jensen, found space and smart play to provide attacking opportunities. Nat Vincent, delivered a 100% effort game in C, always mature in her game and can control the play, well done captain
C Grade:
A very convincing win for the C grade girls today 44 to 17.

B Grade:
A solid effort as always by our defensive duo today in Kera and Steph, both working tirelessly all day to make Dederang work for every goal.

Christie - Some great defensive pressure in WD before providing some great drive and momentum down in our attacking end in WA. Dan - A work horse all day in GA, providing great defensive pressure when required. Poppy - Thrown in attack after some solid weeks in WD, Poppy provided great options all day in C and WD.
A Grade:
A gusty effort by a grade today, a massive improvement from our first time playing DMB.

The 14s took a while to get going this week in the wet. Once we had worked out what the effort required was in those conditions, we were much better in the second half.
Under 17s
A fantastic win in wet, wet, wet conditions against 2nd placed DMB. Next weeks game V Saints will now determine the finals path for the 3rds.

Seniors
Facing our first real wet weather game for the season, we fought out a tough slog against the DMB boys. It was an exciting opportunity for James Davidson and Aya Mcinerney being rewarded for their first senior game, both represented themselves well. Dayne Carey made the most of the conditions snagging 7 goals and was well supported by Hugh Kavanagh, Liam Stephens, Brenton Surrey and Liam McRostie.
